Crépuscule à Cubertou - J.W. Nelleke (4-10+ flutes)

The composition was initially created for 4-10 solo flutes, but it can also accommodate more performers.

This atmospheric work essentially functions as a canon, where each voice enters approximately 4 seconds after the preceding one has begun. The voices are meant to move independently from one another, so there is no need for a score, conductor, or a steady beat. Ideally, the performers would be widely dispersed, surrounding the audience and (if feasible) with some players even hidden from view.

The duration is flexible, depending on the number of performers involved: c. 3:00 - 4:00 minutes
